Right... earlier today SW posted on Facebook asking people for tips for holidays!
Most of the 'tips' were along the lines of 'enjoy yourself' and 'forget the diet', which is fine for some people, but there were not enough genuine supportive tips for my liking!
I received my Beanies Coffee Stash Box today and I couldn't wait to show you all! As soon as I opened the box the smell was amazing. I want to try all the flavours right now! In the box I have; Cinder Toffee Nutty Hazelnut Irish Cream Amaretto Almond Very Vanilla Ginger Bread Chocolate Orange Double Chocolate Mint Chocolate They are all only 2 calories a cup, so totally syn free. You can order your own box direct from Beanies here and individual jars can be bought from Sainsburys Stores. They are also on Facebook and instagram @beaniescoffee. The Stash Box is such good value if you love your coffee like me and want to try all the flavours! Now off to sit down with a nice cup of something chocolatey....Read more
For Fathers Day tomorrow I am hosting a BBQ for my husband and father in law. The only person following plan will be me, so I have planned carefully to ensure there are enough options for me, while offering some non Slimming World options for other people. In theory no one should notice that I'm having a virtually syn free BBQ lunch. I picked up some of the new Slimming World BBQ range today at Iceland. They were fully stocked with the full range so i used my vouchers we received in group to get a pack of each item in the BBQ range. Here's my plan... Meat: Slimming World Beef Burger Slimming World Thai Chicken Burger Slimming World Mediterranean Chicken Sausages Salad: Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles (beetroot, picked onions, gherkins). Cooked diced white onions. Healthy extras: 4 x Laughing Cow Light Blue Cheese triangles 2 x Ryvita Dark Rye Syns: 50g Asda Smart Price Coleslaw (1 syn)Read more
I am loving Bart products at the moment. In particular the Tandoori Rub is used quite frequently in my meal plans at the moment. It is just a spice mix with no added oil or sugars so totally syn free because these are store cupboard staples. Today I discovered the Fajita Spices which come in a lovely metal tin. They are also just a mix of spices. I will be trying that out with some chicken and peppers, because I do love Chicken Fajitas. Waitrose are stocking the full Bart range and my Asda stocks a few products too. Check the ingredients to ensure the ones you choose is totally made of store cupboard staples before assuming it's free. Some do have oils and sugars in, so choose wisely.Read more
