Week 13

A brilliant week. I stayed below 7 syns on most days this week, apart from weigh day when I had 8 syns for a Chinese meal.

I discovered these mini Green & Black's bars which are 15g of solid chocolate for 4 syns (each bar is slightly different on the syns value, but all between 4 and 5 syns). They are such a great use of syns and a substantial chocolate fix. I got mine from Waitrose on offer for £4.17.


I tested out a new Aunt Bessies Product I spotted while shopping last week. Swede and carrot mash which you either microwave or heat in a pan. For quickness it is brilliant. It is only 1/2 syn per 100g, which is well worth using to save the hassle. It went perfectly with my Aunt Bessie Home Bake Yorkshires and Beef Stew. Perfect comfort food for cold days!



I went out for the day on Tuesday to the Local Zoo. I know those places are notorious for unhealthy food, and I was right. The cafe had lots of unsuitable foods on the menu, although they did have jacket potatoes, but I'm still following EESP so it wasn't ideal for me. I decided to make some mini quiches with my new cake cases. I used frozen onions, ham, tomatoes,  3 egg whites and 2 yolks. They were lovely.


I've set my personal goals for April. With today's weigh in result I am very close to achieving No.1 already. 

In order to help me achieve No.3 I've got myself a fitbit. It's really interesting how it makes you aware of what you do (or don't do) exercise wise.

I lost 4.5lbs this week, taking my total weight loss to 3 stone 5lbs in 13 weeks. I've got my next award within reach and I hope i can get it next week.
