So as of Wednesday I am 10.5 lbs to target. At my usual progress rate I would acheive that sort of loss over 3 weeks, but I'm aware that being close to target can slow losses down so I have a realistic goal to acheive.
I'm happy with a 2lbs loss per week, as long as I'm chipping away at that 10lbs, I'm happy.
I use a couple of visual motivators to keep me going. Below is my updated sticker chart which I posted last week and my countdown jars.
It's amazing to see all the stickers and buttons build up, and even more amazing to see how little is left.
Realistically I hope to reach my target at a rate of 2lbs a week (more would be a bonus). If I acheive that then I hope to reach target around 19th August.
Once I reach my target I will decide if I am happy at that weight or if I want to lose a further 7 lbs. I'm letting myself be led by how I feel and look, so I don't yet know what my target weight will feel / look like.
I'm so glad I have reached a point where I am happy with how I look, so these final lbs to lose are just minor improvements.
All I know is that I can't wait to get that target award!
