For this recipe I used Kingsmill* Wholemeal Thins (syn free if used as a Healthy Extra B) and Asda Stewed Steak.
If you have more time on your hands please see my beef stew recipe. You can easily use your slow cooker to make your own homemade stewed steak.
This recipe is easily adaptable to all tastes and preferences, so if canned stewed steak isn't your thing simply think outside the box and make it your own.
I must take a moment to warn you to check the app for which wholemeal thins are a B choice as there are other brands which are not a B choice. It must be the right one.
OK so now back to the method....
Open out the thin and fill generously with stewed steak. Seal closed with egg wash and egg wash the top to get the golden colour once baked. I gave them a spray with fry light when I was spraying the tray.
Bake at 180° (fan) for 20 minutes.
Serve with speedy vegetables and perhaps syn some Ketchup. It would be rude to eat a steak bake without ketchup, in my opinion.
