Summer Sale Shopping!

I haven't done a shopping post for a while, so here goes! Today I got myself a gorge necklace in the sale at Accessorize. £27 to £8.10. I love Accessorize! I needed to get some more moisturiser. I've been using Lancome Day and Night creams for a while, but they had ran out. I visited a fellow SW member at the No7 Counter at Boots and she helped me decide on something to use that suited my skin type. The service in boots was brilliant and actually she helped me choose a product that better suited my skin type and age. I had my bra size re measured. My back size has dropped but cup size is still a DD (thank the lord) as I've been losing boob like there is no tomorrow! The bra is Floozie by Frost French, which is a fave designer of mine, and it was only £12.95 in the sale. No doubt I'll have a lot more shopping posts in the coming weeks as I start the mammoth task  of buying a whole new wardrobe of clothes!

My Food Diary from Retro from Scratch

I got my beautiful food diary from Retro from Scratch on etsy. She also has an instagram page @retrofromscratch. She uses old books which she converts into new ones, with the added benefit of offering a variety of inserts to choose from. I currently have 2 books on the go; my food diary pictured below and also a shopping list book which I use everyday and features in my meal plan posts. The Food Diary has a recipe section at the back too. They are very well made and have some of the internal pages left in place, which I think is a lovely touch. I'm sure you'll agree they are gorgeous!

My latest Lush stash!

My husband got me some surprise Lush goodies today. I do love a surprise, but half the fun with Lush is going to the store. The smell. The goodies on display. I just love it and I could spend hours in there. I'll be doing a lush trip next week to make up for it! In my bag of goodies today I got; Dragons Egg - super colourful one! Big Blue - never tried it, but it smells lovely. Granny takes a dip - I've never tried this one either. I'm ashamed to say that as I've heard good things. Probably going to be the first one I try out! Butterball - another new one for me. I'm hoping it is like the description. Buttery and soft. Blackberry - leaves the water a lovely deep blue and smells gorge. The Comforter - one of my absolute faves from Lush, defo at the top of my list. Sakura - this one is so colourful and crackles while it melts, then it disappears to leave the water crystal clear. Another fave of mine. Lastly I got some samples; Raining men, Happy hippy, dirty, flying fox.

Benefit goodies to celebrate my 6 stone loss!

I ordered this Best of Benefit kit which comes with a free make up bag, 2 samples and 4 products. You get to choose 1 product from each category. Complexion - I chose That Gal brightening face primer. I've used this before. It gives a lovely glow to your skin, and can be worn with or without foundation. Cheeks - I chose Posie Tint which is one of my fave blushers. I just pop a few dots on my cheek bones and blend. Easy application and very versatile. Eyes - I chose High Brow. It is a super duper highlighting pencil for the brows. Just pop a little under the brows to define and highlight. Perfect partner to the Benefit Brow pencil. Free gift - I chose a classic clear Ultra Plush Lip Gloss. Can't go wrong with a good clear gloss. The whole thing was £66 for £78 worth of products plus the free gift bag and 2 free samples. For my samples I chose Puff Off instant eye gel and Triple Performing Facial Emulsion. I've already tried my Puff Off sample. Brill product. Instant noticeable difference and is already added to me next Benefit shopping list! ...

Lush Hello Gorgeous Gift Box

My husband came home with Hello Gorgeous for me this evening! The box is beautiful! Beautifully wrapped with a ribbon and gift tag with the contents listed, plus space to write who it's from. Inside the box is: Sakura bath bomb which for me is my fave one of the range. It captures perfectly the smell of a Lush store. Once in the bath it fizzes away and leaves a colourful pattern as it melts. The Comforter which is exactly that. Home comforts. A beautiful homely scent of blackcurrent, cassis, and bergamot. It makes your bath a bright beautiful pink and very bubbly. The rest are all new products for me - yet to be reviewed by me. Rub Rub Rub mineral rich body scrub. Vanilla Dee-Lite body lotion. And lastly... Gorgeous moisturiser sample size which is going straight into my handbag. I think the products in this box are a great selection of Lush products for the regular Lush user and equally perfect for introducing a friend to Lush. It retails at £22.95, so a good mid range price product. Great for gifting. I'm in love with mine!
